Publication: Photography in the mountains by Harmen Piekema

I am very proud to share with you my first major publication as author of the article: “Photography in the Mountains” in nr3 of Zoom Magazine. In this article I cover all aspects of winter photography in the mountains. This includes safety, location scouting, snow depth, weather prediction and camera settings.

In addition to the written text, also two of my photos have been used. The one with the steam train in Germany and the final image with the rocky outcrop in Norway. If you are curious about the rest of the article, the Zoom is now in the supermarket and book stores (Dutch only).
